Truth be told again…
I have worked with gigs for 2 years now, as a yoga teacher considerably longer. The challenges artists face not only concerns the body but undoubtedly the mind too.
Being that my personal past is quite dark and turbulent, a big part of my work is mental and emotional release.
An idea of the practices:
- slow & intentional moving
- breathwork
- somatic exercises
- meditation
- body scanning
- learn to sit with emotions and thoughts rather than escaping them by default through quick fixes or distraction.
